Margulies Hoelzli Architecture, PLLC utilizes a formal design quality control program with the following objectives:
• To standardize office practices and procedures.
• To increase architectural and engineering efficiency.
• To continuously improve work-product, i.e. design,
working drawings, specifications.
Margulies Hoelzli Architecture, PLLC instituted the following office practices:
• Established a central technical file of information useful
for a variety of projects.
• Assignment of senior office staff to provide technical
guidance, advice and experience on the use of material
in the central technical file relative to a new project.
• Formal internal project reviews for select projects prior
to completion of the concept design and subsequent
submissions and again before 90% contract document
completion. The project team presents the project to a
team of reviewers for questions, critical review
checking of building systems and coordination
between disciplines and plans and specifications.
