Matthew P. Hoelzli, AIA

Matthew Hoelzli, Design Principal of MHA has had over 30 years experience in architecture and project management. Mr. Hoelzli has led his firm in a number of complex and significant projects, including the 1.2 million sf mixed-use Tangram development and the 450,000 sf One Fulton Square in Flushing, New York, the 1.1 million sf Church and Dwight manufacturing facility, the 1.1 million sf logistics facility for Sears Holdings as well as projects for AT&T and Equinix in our growing mission critical market sector. Mr. Hoelzli also has expertise in investigations and building forensics – working on numerous disaster response and forensics projects. Mr. Hoelzli is also known for his work on large scale master planning projects including development of a conceptual mixed-use master plan for the Greenpoint and Flushing waterfront.

Mr. Hoelzli is a licensed architect and holds BS in Architecture degree from The City College School of Architecture of The City University of New York 
and graduated from New York City’s Peter Stuyvesant High School.  He is currently a member of the International Code Council and is a visiting juror for the high school architecture program in Syosset, New York.  Mr. Hoelzli has also held the position of Adjunct Associate at the undergraduate architecture program at CCNY.
