Margulies Hoelzli Architecture, PLLC recognizes the value of sustainability and the environmental impact of our projects and services and we are united in our commitment to improving the environment through conservation of resources, use of materials and implementation of high performance technologies.

In today’s market it is the confluence of technology, energy savings and incentives that together define the viability of renewal/sustainable technologies in new and existing buildings. As the effectiveness and cost of “green” technologies continue to improve, their benefits reach an increasing part of the building industry. MHA's approach evaluates metrics to determine the viability of these technologies. Services include:

    • Site Evaluation
    • Systems Identification/Selection
    • Energy Analysis / Code Compliance
    • LEED Rating

Our LEED accredited professionals follow our integrated design approach to address sustainability and coordinate sustainable components of other engineering disciplines.  We are proud of our accomplishments as a consultant member of the US Green Building Council and New York City's Brownfield Development Program.  Pratt and Whitney's LEED Platinum award was the first of its kind for a manufacturing project in Pennsylvania.  Capital Logistics LEED Silver - our first core and shell sustainable logistics project.  The mixed-use One Fulton Square - one of the first buildings certified under New York City's Green Building Program.
