Daniel M. Margulies, AIA

Daniel M. Margulies was born in Argentina and raised in the Bronx, NY.  He attended Bronx High School of Science and studied architecture at The City College of New York, where he graduated with top design awards.  During his thesis year, Dan earned a review in the New York Times by architecture critic Paul Goldberger.  After 11 years designing large-scale multi-family residential projects in New York City, Dan joined Thornton Tomasetti in 1990 where he led the firm’s multi-disciplinary LZA division for 16 years.  In 2006, he and Matthew founded MHA.  Dan has served as an Adjunct Professor at The City College of New York and remains active in industry organizations.
