Preparation & Recovery

The already busy 2020 Atlantic hurricane season could be one of the most active on record, with outlooks calling for 24 or more named storms – almost double the 30-year average of 13 named storms. According to a statement issued by NASA Wednesday, “Omar is the 15th named storm of the 2020 Atlantic hurricane season, and is the earliest 15th storm on record, besting the previous mark by about a week from Ophelia of 2005.”

September is usually the peak of hurricane season, and MHA is working with our clients to prepare plans for preventative maintenance, risk assessments, and disaster response.
