254 East 33rd Street

New York, NY

254 East 33rd Street is a four story, 3,700 square foot multi-family residential building located in the Kips Bay neighborhood of midtown Manhattan.

MHA designed a complete restoration of this formerly condemned property.  The original apartment layouts, finishes, ornamental stairs, kitchens and bathrooms of the original 1910 building were restored and reconfigured.  The front and rear exterior masonry walls were stripped, re-pointed and stabilized; windows were replaced, and historic cornice and lintels were replicated.
