Alacer Emergen-C

Carlisle, PA

Alacer is the manufacturer of the Emergen-C line of vitamin immune system support products.

MHA initially provided programming and alternate site analysis to assist Alacer in site selection for the East Coast expansion of their California-based operations.  MHA subsequently master planned and designed the 128,000 square foot pharmaceutical grade production facility.

Special environments were provided for production processes including cleanroom spaces with desiccant systems for ultra-low humidity control.  All systems were designed for mission critical operation with redundant systems to maintain environments for production and stored product.  The facility was designed in accordance with pharmaceutical GMP practices and combustible dust control requirements.  The facility was programmed for a future second phase expansion.
