Atlantic Aviation is an aviation services company that operates Fixed-Base Operator (FBO) facilities providing comprehensive ground and international handling, customs, air operations and support, fueling and maintenance for private jet aviation. Atlantic Aviation’s Teterboro, NJ location is the primary gateway facility for executive aviation traffic in the northeast New York region.
MHA has worked with Atlantic Aviation on multiple projects at the Teterboro location.
MHA designed a phased development for the 6.5 acre on-airport site including the demolition of the existing Hangar 3, the construction of two 29,000 square foot Group II hangars with associated offices, a GSE building, reconstruction of aircraft aprons, vehicular parking areas, utilities and associated infrastructure improvements.
MHA designed the renovation and expansion of the existing executive terminal at Teterboro, including a complete reconfiguration and refurbishment of the main lobby, the incorporation of a new two-story elevator, and the addition of a double height glass-enclosed passenger lounge on the airside.
MHA designed the renovation of the back of house and support areas in the Hangar 4 Terminal Building.
MHA provided project management services for the site evaluation and design of 12 acres of new aircraft aprons, ramps and taxiways for Atlantic Aviation’s leasehold area.
MHA provided evaluations of the existing Hangar 4 at Teterboro Airport, NJ and prepared a condition assessment report for the property with particular attention to the structural aspects of the facility on behalf of Atlantic Aviation, in response to a PANYNJ condition assessment.
All projects included the coordination and approval of PANYNJ.
