BAT Administration Building

Brooklyn, NY

Brooklyn Army Terminal is a 95 acre, 4.6 million square foot urban industrial hub for businesses and entrepreneurs in traditional, advanced manufacturing, food and film/TV/media production in NYC.

MHA has worked with the NYC Economic Development Corporation on multiple assignments at the BAT complex.

One cornerstone project at BAT is the restoration and adaptive re-use of the historic Administration or “Annex” Building, an existing designated five story reinforced concrete building constructed in the 1930s.  Vacant since the mid-1970s, the building was restored in 2017 with State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) approval to accommodate new uses and function as an incubator for food-related businesses.
