JE Berkowitz manufactures a variety of glass products including mirrors and insulated, spandrel and tempered glass. Its areas of operation include design, fabrication, manufacturing, distribution and logistics support services. It operates various technical processes for glass manufacturing that include pressing, blowing and centrifuging in addition to cutting, edging and drilling. The company also provides mixture preparation, annealing, sorting, decoration and packaging services.
MHA designed the 200,000 square foot manufacturing facility with high heat tempering and quenching, laminating and multi-pane thermal glazing systems. Staging and crating areas with interior loading berths are also provided. Executive offices (20,000 square feet) are positioned adjacent to the production facility and will accommodate all aspects of the business operation.
