NYCEDC Disaster Recovery Facility

Brooklyn, NY

The New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) manages City-owned manufacturing and distribution hubs, ports and infrastructure.  As part of a City-wide effort, the EDC developed a Disaster Recovery facility for their operations at the Brooklyn Army Terminal.

MHA planned and designed the N+1 redundant facility to accommodate administrative, mirrored network-data and communications facilities for NYC EDC and Law Department operations in the event that the primary downtown New York location became inaccessible.  The site is also designed with flexibility to support the FDNY, NYPD and Mayor’s Emergency Management Operations.
