Atlantic City International Airport, NJ

The United States Coast Guard Mid-Atlantic Air Station supports search and rescue, law enforcement, port security and marine environmental protection for coastlines extending from Connecticut to Virginia. The facility is the largest single airframe unit of the Coast Guard’s Air Stations.

The new 70,000 square foot facility was designed to accommodate ten MH-65D Dolphin Rescue Helicopters and included two hangars, shops, maintenance facilities, offices, berthing, control operations and amenities.

MHA provided architectural design services in conjunction with Thornton Tomasetti providing structural and MEP design.
